This page covers the website only. Home care itself is provided under a separate written service agreement covering the care plan, hours, rates, cancellation and everything else specific to a client. Where this page and that agreement differ, the service agreement governs the care.

Everything on this site is general information about the services we offer. It is not medical, nursing, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for an assessment by a qualified professional who knows the situation. Do not delay seeking or disregard professional advice because of something you read here.

In an emergency, call 911. Do not use this website, our email address or our voicemail to report an urgent medical situation.

• Sending an enquiry or a caregiver application through this site does not create a contract, a care relationship or an employment relationship. Care begins only once we have completed an assessment and both sides have signed a service agreement.
• We may decline an enquiry or application, and we cannot guarantee availability of a particular service, schedule or caregiver.
• The details you send must be accurate and yours to send. If you give us information about someone else, you confirm you are entitled to do so.
• Messages sent over the internet are not guaranteed to be secure or to arrive. Please do not send sensitive health details through the website — call us instead.

You agree not to:

• Use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that damages it or interferes with anyone else's use of it.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system.
• Submit anything false, misleading, abusive or containing malicious code.
• Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content from the site without our written permission.

The content, layout, graphics and the Alpha Healthcare Serves name and logo are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may view and print pages for your own non-commercial use. Any other copying, republication or commercial use needs our written permission.

This site loads a web font from Google's servers so pages render as designed, which means Google receives the IP address making that request. Any links to other organisations — health services, funders, community programs — are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or current. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alpha Healthcare Serves is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or anything you relied on within it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Ontario law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and personal health information. Our Cookie Policy explains what this site stores on your device — which, at present, is nothing.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
